Amazing Grace

Synopsis
She’s taking her life back, one step at a time…

Grace thought she had it all. Living in the beautiful village of Little Ollington, along with head teacher husband Mark and gorgeous son, Archie, she devoted herself to being the perfect mum and the perfect wife, her little family giving her everything she ever wanted.

Until that fateful day when she walked in on Mark kissing his secretary – and her perfect life fell apart.

Now she’s a single mum to Archie, trying to find her way in life and keep things together for his sake. Saturday nights consist of a Chinese takeaway eaten in front of the TV clad in greying pyjamas, and she can’t remember the last time she had a kiss from anyone aside from her dog, Becks…

Grace’s life needs a shake up – fast. So when gorgeous gardener Vinnie turns up on her doorstep, his twinkling eyes suggesting that he might be interested in more than just her conifers, she might just have found the answer to her prayers. But as Grace falls deeper for Vinnie, ten-year-old Archie fears that his mum finding love means she’ll never reconcile with the dad he loves.

So when ex-husband Mark begs her for another chance, telling her he’s changed from the man that broke her heart, Grace finds herself with an impossible dilemma. Should she take back Mark and reunite the family that Archie loves? Or risk it all for a new chance of happiness?

A funny, feel good romance about finding your own path and changing your life for the better – readers of Cathy Bramley, Jill Mansell and Josie Silver will love this uplifting read

Review Amazing Grace by Fany Van Hemelen:
What a fantastic first feel good story with colourful moments and lovely characters!

Grace is a bit uncertain of her talents and her assets. As a divorced wife, from her unfaithful men Mark, she is getting her life back on track. With her ten years old son Archie she is starting over.
Monica, her best friend, will get her back in the picture and after a hilarious makeover she arranged some dates by a dating app. Grace didn’t have any chance and Monica has to get rid of her profile. So back to the dull life with pajama parties and seat sessions after her work as an estate agent. As you know for everyone is their a right person. And even if Grace isn’t fully ready to trust a guy again, she has to admit that Vinnie, the gardener is attractive and intriguing. But can she give her heart safely to this man or does he have secrets?

Mark also is pleading to get a new chance, so it could be hard to make the right decision. Her adorable son Archie will love it when his mother and father would be together again. Grace has to choose between following her heart and take a risk or flow back in routine and be the perfect, unhappy wife again. Besides “the love issues” Grace had to deal with the mourning for her deceased mother.

From the start I knew this was a book that will get a place in my heart. Kim Nash has created beautiful personalities with funny and cheering journeys.
All the players in this book are well-developed. They are realistic portrayed with humour and real emotions and therefore Amazing Grace is a wonderful and uplifting romance novel. I am really curious if she will write another book, what I think is a very good idea and I wonder if it’s again such a lovely one.
