Fany Van Hemelen Review :
What a funny story about love in modern days!

Melissa is 35, still single and looking for true love. She is always online shopping, chatting and almost living in her virtual world. When she writes a thoughtful article her boss has a splendid idea. As a lifestyle-journalist it must be extremely interesting to go a month offline and share your true life. So Melissa has to unplug and kick out all technology for a month. In the beginning this is frightening Melissa and makes her panicking, but this task will bring her beauty, memorable moments and new experiences.

What a hilarious book that has a subtle, but wonderful message. I really loved the way this book is written. It has fantastic characters, hilarious book scenes and more depth in it than you would expect. Okay I have to admit the end is one bit too sweet juicy and very traditional, but Yes it doesn’t matter how it ends because it’s fiction and we need those books to escape our own life. I have never read a book of Victoria Cooke but she has a fan. If you love a Feelgood-story with lots of humor this is your book!

Author Victoria Cooke
Victoria Cooke grew up in the city of Manchester before crossing the Pennines in pursuit of a career in education. She now lives in Huddersfield with her husband and two young daughters and when she’s not at home writing by the fire with a cup of coffee in hand, she loves working out in the gym and travelling.

Victoria was first published at the tender age of eight by her classroom teacher who saw potential in a six-page story about an invisible man. Since then she’s always had a passion for reading and writing, undertaking several writers’ courses before completing her first novel, ‘The Secret to Falling in Love,’ in 2016.
