Synopsis:
This great story, packed with twists and turns, begins in London’s smart Fitzrovia and ends in secret tunnels below central Birmingham.

Ross has a swanky penthouse and a high-flying job in the City. When he meets Kat, a glamorous blonde croupier, he starts to plan a future. Now she’s disappeared, he’s devastated.

Casino boss Shaun realises it’s not just Kat who’s vanished – £20,000 is missing too. He wants his money back and he’s after Kat’s blood.

Young graduate Amy has discovered Kat’s stolen her ID for a sham marriage. She can’t stand Ross, but only he will help her find Kat and clear her name.

High stakes, twists, action and suspense keep the pages turning in A.A. Abbott’s crime thriller, the first in the Trail Series.

Review The Bride’s Trail by Fany Van Hemelen:
I have to admit this was my first book by this author. I’m glad to tell you I’m happy now because I am going to read the next ones in this series. Yes, I definitely loved this fast paced thriller.

In this book the bad ones are incredible. I was transported from London to Birmingham and get the feeling I learned to know these places their atmosphere by this story. Kath, the croupier is an amazing bad girl with an unbelievable attitude, a glamorous lifestyle and a big ego. The whole story is about what’s going to happen when she took a “gangster” his money. Will he track her or can Amy find her first? Amy discovers Kath, her roommate, was maybe not so innocent, she even stole her id to have a sham marriage. The most intriguing of this gripping thriller was it’s told from the perspective of the different key players. I adored to discover their motives and thoughts and I have to be honest, I really loved the unsavoury characters in The Bride’s Trail. This was a book I can’t put down anymore. It is a fast read because it’s written in an easy way and I wanted to know how the adventure was going to end.

Take a look at the “shimmy” world of special casino’s, insurance agencies and stay at a corrupted and powerful world, enjoy the well-developed characters and go on a bumpy ride with lots of thrill and twists. An entertaining and gripping thriller!
